We've had a star studded show ladies and gentlemen, but please welcome my next guest, all the way from Newcastle, England, he is WWE and Smackdown superstar, Mr.Jason McGlade, Jason welcome to the show
Its a pleasure to be here, you yanks can understand me right? -chuckles- just messin' with ya'
Great sense of humor as always, you've receantly moved from a fued with Reaper and now you're on the Smackdown brand with your real life girlfriend and fellow UK native Paige, what are your plans for 2013?
My plans are to be the best in the world, and I'm determined to become the first ever British World Heavyweight Champion, I know i'm not ready for it yet, but alot can change in a year
Fair Enough, You're best friend in the buisness is Len Miles, also known as Reaper, now that hes in the main event at the Royal Rumble, do you think hes going to be able to hang on the upper tier?
Am I a dashing wrestler from Newcastle, England? I have no doubt in my mind that Lens gonna make it, he's got all the tools of a great wrestler, and his Rocky Horror stuff with Xander is freaking hilarious, he's improved alot in terms of his character and theres no way Lens not worthy for the main event, I'm hoping hes gonna win the belt
At an age of 21, you're one of the youngest stars in WWE at the moment, rumors are that you trained at the age of 16, is that true?
Yes it is, I went to Norwich, about 3 hours drive from Newcastle, i'd go their every weekend to train under The Knight Wrestling family, who have been like a second family to me, coincidentally, Saraya-Jade also comes from the same family, her mother Saraya Knight is the scariest human being ever to roam the earth but she's got a heart of gold, I remember when I had my debut match against a very talented guy called Zack Sabre Jr, after the match Saraya said that I was 'The most punchable bastard she'd ever seen' and when I got signed to WWE, she gave me a huge hug and said 'You've finally made it, you scummy, Geordie prick' i'm so glad shes the Shimmer Champion, her drive and detrmination for this sport is fucking amazing, if you don't know who Sweet Saraya Knight is, find out about her or i'll tell her to find you and eat you alive
Is their anyone who you despratly want to face that you haven't already?
Of course, Austin Blake is probably the person I want to face most, I haven't talked to him that much, but the guys work as a heel and as a face is amazing, hes charasmatic as all hell, he can wrestle against any style, I think a fued between myself and Blake would be amazing, I think i've got the rough heel bruiser down and he's got the highflying, technically sound babyface stuff down pat, I hope we get to fued to be honest, and if we do, its gonna be a glimpse into the future of the WWE, another guy I want to face is an old school friend of mine, PAC, or Adrian Neville, he's from Newcastle, I went to school with him, we're practically best mates, while everyone else talked about football, me and Ben talked constantly about wrestling, I think its good that hes on NXT but I'd love to see him and Tyson Kidd go at it, with no limits, Ben would be the talk of wrestling within a few hours, I'd also love to face Xander Sky, I mean i've faced Len before why not his buddy?
If you could face any wrestler from any time period, who would it be?
British Bulldog, he was my freaking hero, I remember watching Bulldog vs Triple H and when the Rock didn't count threee I lost it, I once had a dream when I was 14 years old about me and The Bulldog as a heel tag team called 'The British Empire' and we were about to win the tag team titles but then my mum woke me up and told me I had to go to school, I was pretty pissed off that day -chuckles-
I don't blame you, okay, let me say, its after you've retired from in-ring action, the booker has said 'You can still stick around if you want' what would you do?
It depends, because if me and Saraya-Jade get married, I could be a dad, so if thats the case i'd go home to help her, but if I'm not a dad, then i'd love to be a commentator, with no script, just calling the action and supporting people regardless of if their face or heel..or i'd be a heel manager, maybe for another British star whos around at the time.
If you weren't a wrestler what would you be doing?
I'd probably be a history teacher or something, it was my favorite subject as a kid and I was probably one of the ones who was sad enough to like it, but since i've got wrestling, I can say stuff to the little shithead fans that I couldn't say to little shithead schoolkids -laughs-
Charming, one final question, do you have anything to say to your fans?
Thanks guys, I hope you continue to support me and all that generic crap, just foolin' with ya, May God Save The Queen
It's been awesome talking to you Jason, I hope everything goes well on Smackdown
Cheers, thanks for havin' me, I should take over your job, I've apparently got the gift of the gab thats needed for radio.
I personally think if you don't have respect for wrestling, you shouldn't be in it, I know thats quite a elitist attitude to have but its what I think
Thanks for the comment and the fav Rob
Jason wouldn't not lock up with anyone, he's abit of a goof himself, not as much as Austin, but he's still a goof
I think going to school with PAC would be amazing! Imagine PAC as the best in his class for PE, doing corkscrew star presses and shit!
It would be, he loves talking as much as wrestling, so when he can't wrestle anymore he'd be great to talk about wrestling, are we going ahead with this Austin and Jason fued by the way?
Well, that's nice to know.
I can see people getting pissed off at Ben for doing stuff that your average person can't. He's just amazing.
Yup. As soon as I finish up his feud with Carlos.
It is, Austin not being a goofball just dosen't seem like Austin
I'd be so in awe I wouldn't be able to form sentances
Thats cool with me
You and me both!
Thanks, it'll be a fun thing going.
I'm so happy for him that hes in WWE, while I was a mark for PAC on Dragon Gate, i'll support him wherever he goes
I imagine it will be extremely fun
I changed his name back.
I'm just excited to actually see PAC other than buying PWG DVDS.
It should be
I think it'll be awesome
